Short:
Redstar is a serious, loyal tom who leads ShadowClan.

Full Description:
Redstar is a large, muscular brown tabby with a short, very soft pelt. His pelt is brown (obviously) with dark black stripes that make their way down to his stomach, stopping at the white stomach fur. Redclaw's paws and tail-tip are the same white that is found on his stomach. Moving onto his face we find his piercing red-orange eyes, which are the reason for the "Red-" part of his name. His mouth is white with a thin line going up his nose. The white coloring goes on to cover Redstar's chin, stopping at the base of his neck where his head and neck meet. The brown-tabby color moves over the top of his head, covering the tom's ears, we finish off Redstar's appearance with his long white whiskers, his pink nose, and a nasty looking scar that stretches from his right shoulder down his right leg.

Personality:
Redstar is a serious, thoughtful cat. He is not the first cat to joke, probably not even the last cat, but does enjoy smiles every once in blue moon. Redstar by all means is a thinker, though. He always thinks before he speaks or makes a move. This, seeing as his actions affect the whole of ShadowClan, makes him a very fit-for-the-job leader. Yes, I'm sure his clan would like to see him maybe a bit more laid back, but the seriousness of Redstar defines him greatly. Asking him to act laid-back would be changing the whole of his persona, so his clan accepts his serious demeanor with open arms.

Redstar is also a fiercely loyal cat not only to ShadowClan, but to StarClan. He has full faith in the starry warriors, never once doubting that they don't know what they are doing. This makes him a very dependable leader, leading his clan in the light of their ancestors.

Redstar is a fantastic fighter, his size and strength gives him an advantage in battle over smaller, weaker cats (even though Redclaw would rather solve conflicts by talking things out instead of using his claws). Hunting isn't his greatest, seeing as he is slightly clumsier than other cats because of his large size and the fact that he gets very impatient when he is hunting.
